SPECTRABUSTERS
Spectrabusters is a citizen organized, citizen run organization that spans multiple counties and states. We oppose the Sabal Trail gas pipeline, proposed to run from Alabama to Florida. This pipeline would feed an FPL power plant in Florida for no benefit to citizens of Alabama or Georgia, while tearing a 100 foot wide right of way through all three states. There’s no excuse for another natural gas pipeline when solar power is cheaper and brings jobs and energy.

ALGONQUIN PIPELINE EXPANSION
Stop the Algonquin Pipeline Expansion (SAPE) is a grassroots organization with a mission to educate our fellow citizens and elected officials about the negative impacts associated with Spectra Energy Corporation’s Algonquin Incremental Market (AIM) Project. SAPE opposes the AIM gas expansion project because it may exacerbate climate change, endanger our safety and quality of life, contaminate water, air and soil, cause harm to domestic animals and wildlife, and threaten farmland and property values.

Our Broader Mission: To stop the expansion of fossil fuel infrastructure in Massachusetts and to promote expanded efficiency and sustainable, renewable sources of energy and local, permanent jobs in a clean energy economy.

Spectra Energy built a major natural gas pipeline expansion to New York City that runs through the heart of Jersey City. Jersey City & NYC will bear tremendous risks with no reward, all for the benefit of Spectra Energy shareholders!
Natural gas pipelines are prone to high risk of leaks that are released as either fine mists of toxic spray or result in fires and explosions that may do significant damage to property and life.

Southeast Ohio Alliance to Save Our Water From Fracking
The Southeast Ohio Alliance to Save Our Water is committed to preserving clean water and to pre-empting possible environmental degradation while establishing accountability on behalf of those who may be detrimentally affected and deserve compensation if their water and quality of life are adversely affected by hydraulic fracturing activities, including injection wells and waste disposal, which also includes the spreading of “brine” (frack waste) on public roadways.
